Every year I'm so angry with myself because I ALWAYS forget John Lennon's birthday is October 9th. It's part of my password to so many log ins and yet I always forget when the date rolls around. So, please remember to belatedly think of John Lennon this week.

It's been a long time since I've felt this much sadness.
The weight sits in my stomach and between my shoulder blades.
I miss the lies. The lies made me feel so much better.
I don't believe the truth.

Despite of being the nicest fast food employee ever,
despite of being the last person most will remember ever seeing angry,
despite all the fake happy I am capable of mastering,
somedays there is not enough fake happy in all the world to cover up the mess I am.
